I remember walking home from school to the central station and watching the local crack addicts try to stab each other. Other times some very friendly local ladies would ask to do me favours for a rijksgulden. The School seemed to have a fair share of Turkish and Russian (wannabe) gangsters. I remember lots of really broken kids from Bosnia at that time, they had some messed up stories, I wonder what happened to Sonia? The classes were too rigid (like most of the Dutch school system) I was mostly bored in class, I remember our Dutch teacher (a Chinese lady) explained what a nazi Aryan was by using me as an example..... Fun times.
